Pay raises for teachers and state workers and tax cuts on homes and incomes are at the heart of a new $13.2 billion state budget that passed today in the S.C. House of Representatives. The key vote for the 2024-25 spending plan, however, came late Tuesday by a whopping 104-15 approval margin.
